A Bit About Me...

I first started baking in 1999 making cakes and treats for my family & friends. It very quickly became a popular hobby of mine; I started to feel a real passion for it and as time went on my cakes were getting more and more popular. At this point I branched out into making wedding and celebration cakes. Things were really going well… until I was diagnosed with my illness; Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Hyper-permeable Intestines.

My illness had a huge impact on my life, I felt like I‘d hit straight into a brick wall, I suffered from many different symptoms on a daily basis ranging from massive weight loss, chronic pain, throbbing headaches and constantly feeling fatigued all the time.

After many appointments with doctors who just didn’t seem to be able to help me I consulted a neural specialist who told me to start a very strict diet, dairy, sugar & gluten free…

My road to recovery was a very long, stressful and painful journey but I was determined to help myself overcome this illness and not let it take over my life, I pushed myself to always stay motivated even though I was finding it very hard to find a range of foods to eat. After a while I finally got used to it but I still felt very much alienated not being able to eat and enjoy the same foods as everyone else in terms of desserts for example. This is when I decided to create my own…

After reading, learning, doing thorough research and testing out so many different recipes I can finally say my journey has began…
